Begin the day with a selection of cereals, bread and pastries, cold meats, cheese, fresh fruit and yoghurts, all washed down with a choice of tea, coffee and juices. For lunch, our buffet-style repast consists of a variety of salads, a hot dish and a selection of cheeses, followed by fruit, coffee and biscuits.

Dinner aboard the C’est La Vie is an occasion in itself; our four-course meal begins with an entrée, followed by the main course, a selection of cheeses and then dessert and coffee. Both lunch and dinner are accompanied by the finest white and red wines from the best wine-producing regions of France.

Between meals, you can enjoy guided visits at the many sightseeing destinations indicated in the cruise itinerary.

Embarking in late spring and select weeks in the summer, our Upper Loire & Burgundy Barge Cruise offers an enchanting journey from Pont sur Yonne to Montargis, gliding along the Rivers Yonne, Seine, and the picturesque canals of Loing and Briare. Experience iconic sights and hidden treasures as you sail through this spectacular region. The 2026 schedule runs early summer with a connecting route starting at end of August.

It begins in Paris where our driver will pick you up and drive you to the C’est La Vie moored in the town of Pont Sur Yonne. Settle in and enjoy a champagne welcome and your first gourmet dinner.

Explore Sens, home to France’s first Gothic cathedral, and Barbizon, the village that inspired Monet and Renoir. Discover the majestic Château of Vaux-le-Vicomte, the medieval charm of Moret sur Loing, and the Château of Fontainebleau, one of France’s most significant royal residences.

The cruise concludes with a Captain’s Dinner and a toast to a week of unforgettable memories before returning to Paris. This journey aboard the C’est La Vie promises history, culture, and culinary delights in a setting of unmatched elegance.

Available for one week only in 2026 as a transition route, our Burgundy & Champagne Barge Cruise offers a delightful journey from Pont Sur Yonne to Château Thierry. This special cruise, departing June 21 and concluding June 27, glides along the Rivers Yonne, Seine, and Marne, showcasing both well-known landmarks and charming spots in the heart of France.

The itinerary includes highlights such as the 1st Gothic Cathedral in Sens, the artistic village of Barbizon, and the majestic Château of Vaux-le-Vicomte. Guests will also visit the WWI Museum in Meaux and pay respects at the Belleau-Wood memorial and cemetery, reflecting on its historical significance.

On your first night, enjoy a champagne toast and a gourmet dinner aboard. This cruise combines history, culture, and exceptional dining, offering a memorable experience to treasure long after the journey ends.
