The Loire Valley retains its status as a foodie mecca to this day, with the International Wine and Food Society hosting a festival celebrating fine wine and exceptional cuisine earlier this summer. Wine and cheese tasting evenings are held at the Grandes Caves St-Roch in Rochecorbon throughout the year, while gourmet chocolate and wine tasting sessions take place in Coteaux-sur-Loire at the magical Château de Minière.
